Idea...

I go for walks around my neighborhood all the time...gets me out of the house and a break from being in front of the computer, give me a new perspective...blah blah blah...The thing is, each time I go for a spin...I am appalled at the amount of garbage and crap that people throw out the window or just toss wherever they are....gross. How's about taking a nice little break outdoors to see wrappers, beer bottles, napkins...whatever. Doesn't anybody care? I swear, I do try and pick up trash when I see it, but there is so much it would take me all day to clean up the park I live near. Are there any littering laws?

My thought was...why not create a local website where once a month the local neighborhood gets together and spends the day picking up the trash? Heck, I have no problem making something like this if someone else could be the coordinator...maybe have pics of before the clean up and afterwards?

Last night as I sat near the water, I was pretty happy except when I looked at the discusting brown color of the water...shall we name our waterway "The Anal Coastal", rather than the inner coastal?
