I thought I would share, even though this isn't really art or design related...Some of you may have watched ...the movie all about manifesting the things and situations in your life just by becoming aligned and getting excited about these things...I really do believe your thoughts create your reality and if you can combine it with emotion...well, if you think good things, good things can happen, and vice-versa.
A like minded friend of mine were sitting down for a drink and were talking about manifesting...and we just decided then and there to start saying good things about each other...and really believing it and getting into it too. I am sure we sounded pretty stupid to the people next to us...but who cares? We spent the next hour, saying good things about each other...saying how awesome the other was...how good jobs and money were coming, how great we looked...etc. Both of us couldn't help but laugh too...'cause it was kind of ridiculous...but coupled with strong emotion...now isn't laughter a strong emotion? Did it work...well, the dude sitting next to us bought me a drink...I was about ready to pay and he said he would take care of it. How about that? Anything else? I got a few unsolicited compliments on my work..
Maybe I should start a meetup.com group where everybody just takes turns talking about how awesome the other person is and then you wait and act on the good things that come...
Oh yeah, got this idea from Venus Andrecht (http://www.venusandrecht.com/)...she is a hoot if you ever get to listen to her on hayhouseradio.com
